What You'll Do:

Foxen is looking for a Software Engineer that wants to work with significant autonomy in a small, entrepreneurial product driven team. As a team member, you'll have the opportunity to solve interesting problems to provide streamlined and efficient financial service solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, enhancing, and constructing new and existing features using performant, scalable, secure, documented, and maintainable code
Build and maintain web apps and 3rd party integrations utilizing APIs and/or data mapping
Quickly produce well-organized, optimized, well-tested, and documented solutions
Collaborate with other Engineers and Operations to design and implement features
Communicate effectively and efficiently with teammates and other departments
Driven to be a part of a high performing team that operates with a mindset of collective code ownership
Meet deadlines and satisfy requirements
Participate in agile ceremonies such as iteration planning, retrospective, and daily standups

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field/experience
5+ years relevant programming experience
Strong knowledge of OOP and reusable coding practices
Experience with serverless environments, microservices, and RESTful APIs
Full-stack expertise in multiple tiers of modern web applications
Experienced leveraging development practices such as unit testing, integration testing, proper code documentation, and appropriate logging to develop highly maintainable and reliable code
Practical experience with scrum, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps
